Michal is an electrical engineer with over 9 years of experience in the industry. His career has been focused on product management, with a strong emphasis on marketing, business development and research and development. Currently Michal works at G&W Electric as Global Product Manager for Sensors, responsible for the IEC markets. He leads discussions and forms partnerships with switchgear, relay, and cable connector manufacturers, as well as utilities to design innovative solutions for future grids. Additionally, Michal is an active member of the IEC committee for sensor standardization.

Before joining G&W Electric, Michal held the role of Product Manager for Instrument Transformers and Sensors at ABB, and prior to that he was Product Manager for Distribution Transformers at BEZ Transformers.

Michal holds a master‘s degree in electrical engineering, with a specialization in communication, signal processing, radioelectronics, and material engineering from Brno University of Technology in the Czech Republic.
