Somruedee’s journey with Banpu has been one of long-time commitment and dedication. She became CEO of Banpu Public Company Limited in 2015 after having joined the company since the year of its formation in 1983. She has leveraged her insights and experiences to transform Banpu into a leading international versatile energy company, focusing on sustainable energy businesses and beyond. Under her leadership, Banpu has expanded into new diverse energy offerings, including renewable energy and smart energy solutions, as part of the company’s ‘Greener & Smarter’ strategy. Somruedee’s ambition is to pursue strong, sustainable, and profitable growth for Banpu in 9 strategic countries across Asia-Pacific while building on the skills and expertise of employees as they are the most valuable asset and the vital force that drives the company forward.
