Rony Chacko is a Principal Solution Architect specializing in Distribution and Transmission OT solutions at GE Grid Software, based in Melbourne, Australia.

Grid Software, part of GE Vernova's Digital business, provides utilities with GridOS' orchestration software that accelerates the transformation to a secure, reliable and affordable grid that electrifies the world with sustainable energy.

Rony is a technical trusted advisor to the customers in Asia Pacific region, helping our customers to achieve clean energy by advising the right technology and solutions to maximize the value from their software investments. In this role, Rony is the bridge between market needs and GE product management team.

Rony joined GE in 2021 as a Senior Solution Architect. Rony has 14 years of experience in power grid software business ' Over the course of his career, he has worn multiple hats, excelling as both a business developer and solution architect. Rony's achievements include leading the pre-sales, sales, solutioning, design, deployment, and commissioning of several SCADA, EMS, and ADMS systems deployed across the globe.

Academically, Rony Chacko is holding a master's degree in engineering management, as well as a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering.'

Outside of his professional work, Rony is a seasoned marathoner and triathlete, having completed the Ironman championship.
