Muhammad Anas Shafawi
Anas is one of the crucial members pioneering the Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) market in Peninsular Malaysia. He has been working with TNBX Sdn Bhd since 2019, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad, specialising in renewable energy & energy efficiency solutions beyond-the-metre such as zero capex solar contracting, electric vehicle charging platform and RECs. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington (UW), USA, specialising in Sustainable Power System and Power Electronics, and has a Master's Degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He is also a certified Grid-Connected Photovoltaic (GCPV) designer, Agile Scrum Master and Certified Energy Manager (CEM).'
