With over 30 years of industry experience, Vasu is a seasoned leader in the Energy sector, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
His current role at GE Vernova focuses on forging key partnerships in the carbon and hydrogen value chain. Vasu drives initiatives to secure funding and grants for project pre-FEED stages, collaborating closely with governments, private stakeholders, and regional teams to identify lucrative commercial opportunities.
Previously, Vasu excelled in diverse roles such as six sigma black belt, supply chain manager, and sales director, culminating in his leadership in partnering and deal structuring at the EPC Partnering CoE. His strategic mindset and commercial intensity have consistently delivered results.
Vasu holds a Doctorate in Business Administration, alongside a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and a postgraduate certification in Business Management. His robust academic background and extensive industry tenure uniquely position him to spearhead transformative solutions in decarbonization through carbon capture, hydrogen, and ammonia value chains.
