Ronaldo S. Ramos, also known as "Aldo," is the President and Chief Operating Officer of the Thermal Visayas-Mindanao (VisMin) Business Unit at Aboitiz Power Corporation. Under his leadership, Aldo provides business strategy to operations and development of (two) 2 coal power plants and five (5) oil fired facilities of AboitizPower in the Visayas and Mindanao Regio. With an impressive track record within the Aboitiz Group, Aldo initially joined as Assistant Vice-President for Business Risk Management in Aboitiz Equity Ventures. His exceptional leadership skills and expertise led him to head both the AEV and AP Enterprise Risk Management teams from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, he was entrusted with the role of Vice
President of Corporate Services within the AboitizPower Coal Business Unit, and in 2020, he ascended to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer of the AboitizPower Oil Business Unit. Aldo is the current president of Association of Philippine Diesel Power Plants, Inc., a Philippine-registered organization that is primarily established to ensure growth of the diesel industry and promote the common interests of its members.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Accountancy from De La Salle University, which he earned in 1999. In addition to his academic achievements, Aldo is also a Certified Public Accountant, demonstrating his commitment to professional excellence. With his extensive experience and strong foundation in finance and risk management, Aldo brings invaluable expertise to his current role at Aboitiz Power Corporation. His visionary leadership and strategic mindset make him a pivotal figure in driving the success and growth of the Thermal Business Group.
