Romain joined EDF almost 20 years ago where he started in the UK before shifting to the French Power grid, RTE. Over there he held several positions in Engineering, IT, Expertise and R&D for more than 10 years. He then got posted to Singapore in 2019 to lead the SmartGrids activities for the APAC R&D branch of EDF before shifting to EDF International where he’s been leading since 2022 the technical activities in the APAC area supporting Hydrogen, Transmission and Storage development. On Storage, he focused mostly on Pump-Storage Projects in India and Lithium-ion in Japan.
