In 2004, when R. Candra Hermawan joined PT. PLN, the company was in the process of establishing a high-voltage live line maintenance division. He has been a part of this division ever since. He served as a Supervisor for five years and have held the position of Assistant Manager in the division since 2021.
He was involved in the 18th Joint Maintenance Cooperation Committee (JMCC) Meeting held in Malang in 2017. At the national level, he achieved recognition by winning the first-place award for innovation in the transmission category at the XX PLN Selection of Innovation Awards in 2018.
