Nick Wright
Nick Wright joined Sarawak Energy (“SEB”) in June 2010, where he is presently Senior Vice President for Business Development. In that capacity, Nick leads SEB’s Commercial, Key Accounts (origination, negotiation and management of Commercial Power Purchase Agreements and Sarawak’s role in the ASEAN Power Grid through interconnections with Indonesia, Singapore Sabah and Brunei) and International Business (mainly focussed on hydropower development in North Kalimantan). He is also a Director of PT Kayan Hydropower Nusantara, which is developing the largest hydropower project in Indonesia.
For the four years prior to joining Sarawak Energy, Nick was Senior Advisor to the Minister for Energy and Resources in Tasmania.
Nick holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Graduate School of Business, University of New England, a Bachelor of Arts (with First Class Honours) in Government and Economic Policy, as well as a Bachelor of Laws, from University of Tasmania. He is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors
