Kitty is an impact-driven leader passionate about catalyzing system transitions towards achieving net-zero economies at scale. For over a decade, she has focused on the nexus of business, policy and finance, working with a range of partners to foster conducive conditions for disruptive technologies and business models to thrive. She is also a strong advocate of creating inclusive spaces in the energy sector to ensure that more women assume leadership positions. After a successful TV journalism career with Reuters, Kitty became an entrepreneur, building her own media production company, focusing her award-winning long-form videos on telling inspiring stories of marginalised communities overcoming the challenges they face. Spurred by the desire to make an impact on environmental and climate issues herself, Kitty launched her career in energy, first co-founding the China practice for the Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) and later founding a new practice at the European Climate Foundation (ECF), focused on the scaling of renewable energy globally. Building on this pioneering work in bringing a range of stakeholders together to advance the energy transition, she turned her focus to food system decarbonisation and led Silicon Valley unicorn.

Impossible Foods in its strategy for entering and expanding sales of its plant-based meats in Asian markets. At GEAPP, Kitty leads the Asia region (ex-India) aimed at identifying and executing opportunities to catalyse investment in clean energy, supporting the mission of decarbonizing the energy system to galvanise access to a green economy. Kitty also brings her specialised knowledge to build an ecosystem for promoting women's entrepreneurship and leadership.
