Ezraila Mohamad Isa
Graduated with a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of London, United Kingdom in 1998.
She has more than 26 years of experience in the power industry, mainly in the field of power plant Operation and Maintenance, and Asset Management, in both conventional and renewable energy power generation, as well as Business Transformation. Her notable previous works include setting up a rooftop solar business for an IPP company and spearheading the special task force established by the Malaysian Energy Commission to explore commercialization of bottom ash produced by coal power plant operators in Peninsular Malaysia in a practical and safe manner.
She obtained Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification issued by the Council For Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) in 2018, and she is a certified ISO 14064 GHG Practitioner.
In 2022, she joined Leader Energy Group Sdn Bhd as Head of Asset Management, where she led the activities related to the asset management of the Group’s power generation and power transmission assets within the Southeast Asia region. In addition, she was also responsible for the overall operational activities of the Group’s utility-scale solar power plants.
At present, she is the Chief Operating Officer, Renewable Energy of Leader Energy Group Berhad. She is currently responsible in spearheading the operational strategies and activities for the Group’s Renewable Energy power assets. Her RE operation portfolio extends across various types of RE technology namely hydropower, utility-solar and C&I solar in various locations across Southeast Asia and Taiwan, and she is currently leading the Group’s initiative to integrate battery energy storage solution (BESS) with the GCPV system in one of the utility-scale solar power plants owned by the Group located in Peninsular Malaysia.
